Is there such a thing as redemption?

I don’t think so. How would you then explain the fact that a person who has wronged you in the worst possible way, is happy while you are left to pick up the pieces of a shattered life? How do you explain that your best friend puts her interests before justice? How would you explain how sinners live a carefree life? How someone who has caused you such immense pain can look at the mirror every morning and not feel ashamed? And how do you explain how someone you loved could not care less whether you lived or died?

Sounds like a bunch of rants but I see it everyday. Try being in my shoes and see it happen to you on a daily basis. Try feeling the absolute despair and experience the unfairness of what life is meting out to you. And try to then understand what belief in karma means…

I question fate. I question destiny. And I question redemption.

There is no such thing as fate or destiny. As far as redemption goes, it only applies to those that have a conscience.
Redemption is relevant only when one feels guilty. Karma is a nice word to try and keep everyone on the straight and narrow. It doesn't really exist. There is no gigantic cosmic wheel turning or a scale balancing ... well, anything.

I believe that life has its own mystical checks and balances. Ive learnt that what breaks our hearts now will one day just become another step towards learning what we are made of. Redemption I believe lies in feeling everything with all your heart, but once the experience is over and you've given it its due mourning, just believe in your self when no one else does and you are capable of transforming even this into something beautiful. Life takes care of your works on its own. my own experience has taught me that if i long for redemption i only hurt myself further. I completely get how terrible and tough this must be for you but believe me girl, its not worth breaking your heart about, you're worth much more..

the phase u r going through right now... if not same.. the pain u face happens to many.. life seems like a wretched phenomenon.. but trust me.. its the testing time the black clouds shall pass.. n d spring shall rise.. its just life teaching u, prepairing u... never to trust some1... that bad... life . showing u the w"orst case scenario".. and prepairing u by making u face it now.. dan u being unprepared and face it later in ur life when it hurts u the most... so take it like a challenge, ecome the phoenix... go out... COMMUNICATE.. :-)

hey karishma... I can identify with your emotions here. Frankly speaking I wonder if "such" people will ever feel guilty of what they have done.
But we do not have much choice do we ? Life goes on and you and I are living it ..
I can say you are strong and you'll get by ( thoughts reflected by my pals too for me) ..but its best to say .
... trust yourself more than others..atleast you can never let yourself down..
take care girl!..

"I asked for strength and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve.

I asked for prosperity and God gave me brawn and brain to work.

I asked for courage and God gave me dangers to overcome.

I asked for patience God placed me in situations where I was forced to wait.

I asked for love and God gave me troubled people to help.

I asked for favors and God gave me opportunities.

I received nothing I wanted.
I received everything I needed."
