Anguish and Despair

My mind it wonders about tomorrow,
And all the joy and the sorrow.

My heart it sighs with a lot of grief,
Oh! What I'd do for blessed relief.

The turmoils that twist inside me,
For something that can never be.

Leads to anguish and despair,
For a bond beyond repair.

Standing at the point of no return,
The Chasm of fire still burns.

Hey karishma,

you write so well!! keep it up!! but i can see a kind of negative emotion in this poem. it is loaded by some sadness/depressive feeling. is something wrong? keep smiling!!

All that some soul once said said:

It's the heart that's afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance,
It's that dream that fears waking
that never takes the chance,
it's the mind that's scared of losing
that never learns to give
& It's the soul afraid of dying
That never learns to live.

well kari,
thats the kind of world we have chosen to live in...happiness or sadness...just dont matter..
but in anycase i think u have that inherent quality of bringing out the emotions in ur writings..that is good, good for a writer...write more(though i dont need to say that)...
